GMS RECEIVES NATIONAL AWARD #GMSSTORY
Last spring GMS was named a School to Watch through the National Schools to Watch Forum of middle schools. This summer the GMS Leadership team visited Washington D.C. to receive the award and attend the Schools to Watch Conference. As part of the trip, the team was able to visit with Congressman French Hill to share information about the school and discuss other current issues in public education. The team also conducted a presentation at the conference to share about GMS and the successful initiatives that impact student learning and achievement.
A formal gala was held on Friday evening for the award ceremony and schools from all across the country were present to receive their designations. GMS celebrates this award with students and staff and appreciates the support from our school district and local community.
