It is our belief at Westside Elementary that we create a safe and positive learning environment that is respectful, trusting, nurturing, and fair. Our school utilizes rigorous instructional practices that engage students in the learning process.
We promote individuality, use of technology, and prepare students towards becoming life-long thinkers, learners, and educated adults who choose a healthy lifestyle. Westside Elementary parents and staff members understand that our children must be the change we wish to see in tomorrow's world.

To show their appreciation and love for the hard work and devotion to student learning Mrs. Worthey and Mrs. Evans baked a variety of muffins and prepared some energy-boosting coffee then strolled through the halls serving the staff as they entered the building for the day.
