District-Wide Parent Orientation will be August 13th at the following times:
Pre-K-Kdg: 5 p.m.-6 p.m.
1st-2nd: 6 p.m.- 7 p.m.
3rd-5th: 7 p.m.- 8 p.m.
GMS: 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.
GJHS: 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
GHS: 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.

WES is an International Reading Association Exemplary Reading Program Award Recipient for 2015!
Mrs. Worthey and Dr. Betancourt presented our winning reading program to literacy teachers and leaders throughout the world at ILA's annual literacy conference in St. Louis. They were extremely impressed with our PROWL program! We are so proud of the hard work and dedication of WES teachers and staff to create a positive reading environment that ensures success for all of our students.

Last semester flew by and we are ready for another successful semester! Please make sure your child is filling out their reading log and turning it in to the teacher so they can receive credit for their minutes and work towards attending Fun in the Sun in May! Parent/Teacher conferences will be coming up on February 12th so keep that date available to meet and discuss your child's academic progress!

POLAR BEAR PLUNGE 2013
We are so proud of our students and staff for raising over $600.00 in just 2 weeks for the Special Olympics. Not only did we raise money but our "Duck Dynasty" team won BEST COSTUME at the Polar Bear Plunge. We had a great time for a great cause!

Polar Bear Plunge 2014
Once again we challenged our WES students to raise $500.00 or more for the Special Olympics in less than two weeks and they did.
We took the plunge on February 1st, at Woolly Hollow State Park around 1:00pm. It was good times for a good cause. We appreciate all the support. This year we were
"The Polar Bear Plungers".

On Thursday, March 19, 2015, WES held a Family Wellness Night. Coach Moseley did a fantastic job of creating a fun-filled night of team challenges for WES family and friends to compete in. Lots of laughs and good times were had by all who were able to attend.
