Greenbrier High School art teacher, Karen Hall, was recently recognized by Governor Asa Hutchinson for her completion of the Declaration of Learning Program. This program allows participating educators to learn about historic art, objects, and resources from the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, Clinton Foundation, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Reception Rooms, and the William J. Clinton Presidential Library.
This Arkansas Declaration of Learning Program is a first-in-the-nation public-private partnership in which teachers and librarians create units and lesson plans featuring historical objects and art from state and national museum partners. Thank you to Mrs. Hall for being committed to her own learning and bringing such experiences and resources back to her classroom to benefit her students!
