Greenbrier School District is making great strides with its STEM and Computer Science Programs! Each elementary school has a STEAM lab that allows for teachers and students to participate in hands on learning activities around science, technology, engineering, art, and math. As students enter middle school and junior high, they also have the option of STEM as an elective course. Once students enter 9th grade, they can begin taking computer science courses for graduation credit, and the range of computer science courses are growing at GHS. Several student clubs and groups participate in STEM festivals and coding competitions around the state. The computer science brochure explains more about our programs kindergarten – 12th grade. More exciting STEM and computer science opportunities will continue to evolve for our students!
