Congratulations to GHS’ Ms. Jacklyn Langston for being selected as one of the participants in the 2019 FDA Professional Development Program in Food Science. This partnership program, developed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), is an initiative which prepares middle level and high school science and family and consumer science educators to teach topically relevant lessons in food science to their students. This year’s program is the 20th consecutive year of this professional development offering, which is conducted by a Leadership Team of master teachers, FDA representatives, and the Graduate School USA. We’re excited for this opportunity for Ms. Langston to continue developing our Family and Consumer Science department!
