Greenbrier High School students and art teacher Karen Hall were invited to Arkansas’s Governor’s Mansion for the annual Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 8th.  A total of 24 Arkansas high schools participated in “Christmas Around the World” research of Christmas traditions of some of the top countries having direct foreign investment in Arkansas, followed by students designing Christmas ornaments reflective of those customs.  This led to an unbelievable 2019 Christmas tree display representing hard work and innovation by students and teachers from those schools. GHS contributed to the tree representing Brazil and Columbia. It was an honor and privilege for Greenbrier to be represented by such great artists and Mrs. Karen Hall while also contributing to the state of Arkansas in a unique way.
