At GHS students are being challenged to think deeply about important concepts like the powers of government and mathematical principles. In Mr. Carr’s class students are solving algebraic equations, and Mr. Kennedy’s students are analyzing rhetorical choices to evaluate the choices of a speaker in prose. Ms. Ternes’s students are discussing how authors use storytelling devices to convey meaning and theme. Mr. Vanevera’s class is reading and annotating Federalist Paper No. 10, written by founding father and our fourth president, James Madison. GHS Teachers are doing Whatever It Takes for our students!
