Our teachers worked hard to "hook" our students on their first units of the year! 7th grade math is going on a road trip to introduce their unit on Number Systems. 7th Grade Literacy learned about idioms and other figurative language and practiced how to use them in their writing, while 6th grade literacy is "Inside Out" to learn about writing with tone, emotion, and purpose. Mr. Pickett also had his art students working hard on their watercolor paintings. We can't wait to see what these amazing GMS artists create this year!
