GMS Week 16
We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break! We were excited about being back at school this week and lots of fun learning took place!
7th grade literacy classes completed review stations to practice finding the theme in the play "Diary of Anne Frank". They also reviewed their writing based on the ATLAS writing rubric.
GMS had the opportunity to host the EAST state board meeting and several of our EAST students got to present their projects to board members. Congratulations to Brighton Miller and Parker Coffman for being recognized as EAST champions!
7th grade math classes are learning all about equations, and they got to practice solving equations in real world problems by completing a relay race! Mrs. Miller's 7th grade science classes were also engaged in their lesson by getting to do hand motions to learn new vocabulary words such as weathering, erosion, and deposition. They also completed a sort to determine which agents and processes occurred in particular landscapes.
