The second semester has begun at GMS! Your students have grown so much and are over halfway through the school year! We are excited to spend this semester together learning and growing!

We started the first week back with 2 snow days! We loved seeing pictures of our students having fun in the snow! 

ReadBowl 2025 also kicked off! Students are challenged to record the minutes they read at school and at home. We can't wait to see how many minutes our GMS students read over the next 4 weeks!

Our QuizBowl team had the opportunity to compete against local schools in a practice QuizBowl Tournament. Our amazing students were undefeated for the day!

7th Grade literacy classes completed activities to practice the 5 steps to a "cold read". They took information that they learned from the passages and used the jigsaw method to teach their findings to classmates.
