Fire Prevention Week is always the second week of October. We learned the history of the Great Chicago Fire, how firefighters thought about fire safety after the tragedy, a unique meeting place for their family if their house were to catch fire, and exits out of their rooms. Our standards are to identify people & resources that promote health & safety and we want to thank the Conway Fire Department for letting Eastside PE use the equipment for our students to do the kids' firefighter challenge.
