3rd grade readers in Mrs. Salazar's class tried their hand at bartering goods to survive in the wilderness! Each team had to strategize together and discuss with other teams to make wise trading choices on their quest to secure food, clothing, and shelter. This hands-on experience built background knowledge to prepare them for our new extended text, "The Sign of the Beaver."
