Judge Jutze held court today!

Her class read short articles about Valentine's Day to determine if it is a scam holiday this week. Then they had to write a 5 paragraph opinion piece about if they thought Valentine's Day was or was not a scam holiday. Today they had a mock trial with each side stating their opinion and backing that opinion up with supporting details.

Super cute way to get kids engaged in opinion writing and fostering some deeper thinking. The students LOVED it.
