Fifth graders in Mrs. Pozorski's class have been learning about matter and how it changes. Students began this unit making pancakes and exploring how various types of matter change when other substances are added to them. Students will continue to examine the differences between physical and chemical changes, conservation of matter, and conservation of mass. Students will also apply literacy skills such as supporting claims with evidence to show their understanding in science!
