Mrs. Isom found herself back in a Literacy classroom this morning. She modeled how to use the vocabulary wheel to Ms. Bowman's 3rd graders using a vocabulary word from their novel, The Orphan of Ellis Island. Vocabulary instruction happens daily, with the goal to expose students to the meaning of as many words as possible.
