t was a GREAT morning at Westside as we celebrated our New Playground with an official ribbon cutting ceremony! The school was joined by members of our wonderful school board, superintendent Scott Spainhour, and the Greenbrier Chamber!

Student readers shared their most favorite parts of the playground and their appreciation through their writing. Coach Reynolds spoke about the benefits of physical activity and the positive effects on classroom achievement. Ms. Krogman presented a plaque and thank you cards to Board Member Jennifer Hill and Mr. Spainhour. And OF COURSE, in true WES fashion we danced and celebrated!!

It was a SPECIAL day!
