During social studies last week, first grade learned all about the voting process. Then they celebrated their new knowledge by hosting their very first election!! The two candidates in the election were the Oreo cookie & the chocolate chip cookie. Students created their campaign poster, created a video to share their poster, watched other friends’ campaigns, & then cast their own ballots! During math, they graphed the data from their ballots & even enjoyed a sweet treat!
