First grade teachers hooked students into their new book, “The Wizard of Oz” with yellow brick road treats and Wicked Witch punch. The students enjoyed their treats while learning about the main characters and making predictions before beginning the story. During science, they created cyclones in a bottle because Dorothy was stuck in a cyclone at the beginning of the book!
