Our kindergarteners traded in their classroom for a day at Bo Brook Farms! Students took a hayride, dug in corn kernels, explored a hay maze, visited a few farm animals, picked the perfect pumpkin pie, played outdoor games together, and cheered on a few pretty fast pigs at the pig races. The students will continue to learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin this week, write about their experience at the pumpkin patch, and continue their discussions about markets and goods. What a fun day at the farm!
