Greenbrier Students Attend Next Man Up Educator Event
This week a group of male high school students traveled to the University of Arkansas in Hope, Arkansas to participate in an event aimed at promoting education careers to male students. Males in education fields are deemed to be non-traditional and make up less than 30% of educators. At the event students were able to hear from several keynote speakers including Tyler Tarver, Dean of NLC College. Razorback Safety Jayden Johnson and Razorback Corner LaDarrius Bishop were also there to speak, and were able to spend some time answering questions with Greenbrier students. The group was accompanied by Coach Roberson from GHS, as well as Dane Satterfield from Wooster Elementary. We are proud that our male Greenbrier Educators had the opportunity to share the benefits of their experiences in the classroom with this awesome group of students!
