Week 13 at GJHS!

With Thanksgiving Break five days away and counting, Week 13 brought heightened energy. Students in Survey of Business created fliers for upcoming community events in Greenbrier--operationalizing the skills and knowledge they are currently acquiring in class. They also listened to Ashton Pruitt, CEO and President of Greenbrier's Chamber of Commerce, share about the Chamber's multi-faceted services. Meanwhile, Family and Consumer Science students prepared for and practiced sewing using both paper and fabric. We are #GreenbrierProud of our jazz band students who made All-Region as well as proud of GJHS for being one of only two junior highs nationwide that ranked in the top 6-10% re: student performance! Our countdown to break ended Friday with Club Day during Advisory; two ducks visited the Animal Care Club! #heartofapanther #strongertogether
