Strategic Partnership Meeting Advances Governor’s Three Es Initiative
On December 8th, our district hosted a strategic engagement meeting to discuss Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ “Three Es” (Enlist, Employ, and/or Enroll). Meeting participants included district leaders, high school leaders, and Brigadier General Chad Bridges with leaders from the Arkansas National Guard. General Bridges serves as Governor Sanders’ Secretary of the Department of Military as well as The Adjutant General for Arkansas. He is currently engaging with the administration at some of the leading schools around Arkansas, including Greenbrier.
The meeting allowed for representatives to explore opportunities for collaboration between the Arkansas National Guard and Greenbrier School District and to strengthen partnerships between the Arkansas Guard and our school community. Programs and initiatives aligning with the Governor’s Three Es that the National Guard can support (e.g., JROTC, STEM initiatives, mentorship, career pathways) were strong focus areas for the session. Likewise, General Bridges and his team reinforced the Guard’s commitment to community engagement and workforce development in Arkansas.
This session added to the district’s student systems that ensure “Success Ready Graduates,” providing the targeted support for each graduate to either enroll in postsecondary education, be immediately employed, or enlist in the military.
